Arcadia Ultra Seal T5 Electronic Controllers As with the standard controller, this is a unit that mounts outside the aquarium, and connects to a fluorescent tube using the flexible ULTRA SEAL IP67 lamp holder leads. Features; * The new ULTRA SEAL lampholder design. * Complies with European Safety Standard. When using T5 high output lamps, it is essential that an electronically ballasted unit such as this is used - the traditional magnetically ballasted unit will not suffice. Other benefits provided by the electronic controller include; * Improved efficiency - more of the energy used is converted to light, with less wasted as heat. * Electronic ballasts do not require a starter, which with time will fail and require replacing.

Twin timers offer individual control of each light source and these are now concealed in the end cap of the pendant enhancing the elegant design.
