	Aquamedic Marin 500 Ref: AQMMAR5 Aquamedic Marin 500 is a 4- stage internal filter system for seawater aquaria up to 500 litres (c. 125 gallons). The Marin 500 filter system is designed for use inside the aquarium. It consists of a filter tank with dimensions 48 x 20 x 48 cm (c. 19 x 8 x 19 inches). The water is fed to the midiflotor protein skimmer in its dedicated chamber by way of a surface overflow and pre-filter sponge. From there it is pumped to a biological trickle filter, filled with Bactoballs. The SP 3000 Dosing pump supplies water to the Nitratereductor. Two PF 1000 pumps rated at 1000 l/h (c. 250 gph) pump the water back into the aquarium. Using the Marin 500, existing aquaria can be transformed into a powerful saltwater aquarium without any external plumbing or modifications. It consists of an enclosed filter sump 60.5 x 40.5 x 57.5 cm housing the filter modules.
